Amanda Lopez, NP
Amanda Lopez is a board-certified and licensed family nurse practitioner. A Sugar Land native, she now calls The Heights in Houston home, bringing her expertise and passion for women’s health to the communities she serves.
Amanda’s journey in healthcare began at Texas A&M University, where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in health and nursing with honors in 2014. She then dedicated herself to caring for mothers and newborns as a postpartum and neonatal intensive care nurse at Memorial Hermann Health System. While working full-time, Amanda pursued her master’s degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center, graduating summa cum laude with her Master of Science in Nursing in December 2020. She became board-certified as a family nurse practitioner in February 2021.
With a deep passion for women’s health, Amanda focuses on personalized, comprehensive wellness that addresses each patient’s unique needs from the inside out. Her approach combines clinical expertise with genuine care, helping patients restore balance, energy, and confidence at every stage of life.
Outside the clinic, Amanda cherishes time with her husband, whom she met at Texas A&M and married in 2021, and their son, born in December 2023. Their golden retriever, Winston, rounds out the family. Amanda lives by one cardinal rule: always have a trip planned—she’s been known to book her next vacation on the flight home from the current one. She also enjoys staying active through Pilates, strength training, and various forms of exercise.
