Alexis Edmunds, NP
Alexis Edmunds is a licensed and board-certified nurse practitioner who brings a wealth of medical expertise and a genuine passion for wellness to Sugar Land Hormones & Wellness. A Sugar Land native, Alexis joined Sweetwater OB/GYN Associates in 2023, where she is dedicated to helping patients feel their absolute best, both inside and out.
Alexis’s journey in healthcare began at Texas A&M University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science. She then pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Houston, launching a successful six-year career as a registered nurse in the prestigious Texas Medical Center. Her commitment to advancing her expertise led her to earn a Master of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and she achieved board certification in January 2021.
With a deep-rooted passion for promoting wellness and restoring balance, Alexis combines her extensive medical training with a personalized, compassionate approach to patient care. Her background in nutritional science uniquely positions her to address the whole-body connection between hormones, nutrition, and overall vitality.
When she’s not caring for patients, Alexis enjoys life in Sugar Land with her husband, son, and dog. She loves spending quality time with friends and family, staying active through regular workouts, and exploring new destinations.
