Dr. Shannon Crowe, MD, FACOG, MSCP
Dr. Shannon Crowe, MD, FACOG, MSCP, is a board-certified OB/GYN and nationally recognized expert in hormone health, menopause medicine, and functional medicine. Since 2000, she has been a trusted healthcare provider in the Sugar Land community, co-founding Sweetwater OB/GYN Associates with Dr. Bryan Blonder in 2009.
Education & Credentials
Valedictorian of Villa Madonna Academy and a magna cum laude graduate of Marquette University, Dr. Crowe earned her Doctor of Medicine with high honors from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas–Houston, training at Memorial Hermann Hospital and MD Anderson.
Named Outstanding Female Physician at Memorial Hermann–Sugar Land and Best OB/GYN in Fort Bend County, Dr. Crowe is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a National educator for Biote hormone therapy.
Whole-Person Care Philosophy
Dr. Crowe is passionate about whole-person care and longevity. Her integrative approach includes bioidentical hormones for men and women, nutritional guidance, supplements, peptides, aesthetics, and complementary therapies tailored to each individual. She also practices a full range of gynecological services, including birth control, gynecologic cancer prevention, and treatment of abnormal menstrual bleeding.
Beyond Medicine
Outside of medicine, Dr. Crowe is a Master Scuba Diver and volunteers as an aquarium diver at Moody Gardens. A former marathoner and nationally ranked Ironman triathlete, she now believes in balance—incorporating Pilates, yoga, and resistance training into her wellness routine. She lives in Sugar Land with her husband, Jim, and their two children.
